Yes! Makarios works completely offline. The optional cloud sync feature allows you to sync your data across devices, but it's not required for the tool to function.
Makarios will notify you when updates are available. You can also check for updates manually in Settings > About > Check for Updates. All updates are free for lifetime license holders.

If you enable cloud sync, your data is automatically backed up. However, we always recommend maintaining your own backups using the export feature. Local data is stored on your device and not automatically backed up unless you use cloud sync.
Yes, you can use your Makarios license on multiple computers. Simply install the software on your new computer and activate it with the same license key. There's no limit on the number of devices you can use.
